Shooting Star

The Shooting Star program for children under 6 as of July 1st is designed as our fast track program into figure skating.  Skaters must be in figure skates and skate both a minimum 3 summer weeks.  Ideally participants have been on the ice for 1 lesson set at some point previously.

The Shooting Stars will be coached by OBFSC Professional coaches and working on Advanced Canskate and Star skills.

An off ice component is incorporated into this program to introduce parts of skating better suited for the floor at this stage and to start building strong habits required to move into future programs.
